Acupuncture
After thousands of years of development classical acupuncture is a world-renowned, internationally trusted ancient Eastern medical system with evidence-based effectiveness.
Holistic Healing
Classical acupuncture helps optimise and sustain wellbeing, bringing health and healing to physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual aspects as well as an overall transformation within you and through all of your life.
Treatment focuses on the root causes and not just the symptoms, and includes advice on ways of living, diet, activity and lifestyle.
Benefits can be found at times of difficulty, stress, reduced physical or emotional energy, at times of change in your life or in the seasons, as well as when you are not quite yourself.
Acupuncture can help you rediscover balance and harmony.

"After just two sessions of acupuncture with Anna, I started to feel great improvements in pain and mobility after years of debilitating back pain.”

What can be treated?
Acupuncture effectively helps treat a wide range of symptoms and conditions, including injuries, acute illness and chronic disease, as well as helping physical, mental and emotional difficulties.
It is common for people to receive acupuncture alongside medical specialist treatment for a range of conditions, such as back problems, IBS, gynaecological complaints, fatigue, headaches, addiction and mental health issues, as well as smoking cessation, facial rejuvenation and weight loss.
I have clinical experience in helping support people receiving treatment for a variety of issues from fertility and cancer to psychiatric disorders.
Over my decades of clinical experience, I have found acupuncture can provide significant benefit in helping the recovery, symptom relief and a sense of wellbeing for individuals who have been struggling with long-term difficulties which Western medical treatment, or other healing approaches, have proved unable to sufficiently help.

Evidence-based Effectiveness
International research has proved the effectiveness of acupuncture across many conditions and clinical areas.
The Acupuncture Evidence Project “found evidence for the effectiveness of acupuncture for 117 conditions” and concluded the safety of acupuncture “in the hands of a well-trained practitioner” (Acupuncture Evidence Project).

What to expect
Acupuncture can sometimes be experienced as a ‘miracle cure’ for those who have otherwise not found lasting benefit from other approaches; due to the very different way that acupuncture understands and treats illness and promotes balance and health.
Acupuncture is a source of important maintenance and promotion of preventative care, in helping support wellbeing and preventing relapse into future ill-health.
It is common that after initial assessment and a follow up course of treatment over several weeks, symptoms and illness improve and then we may reduce the frequency of treatments to monthly or less often.
“Acupuncture is often described as an experience of deep relaxation and peace, with physical release, bringing mental and emotional clarity, and a sense of overall wellbeing.”
